Kroatien-Premiere im Geburtsort von Danijel Pranjić (27.5.2012)
In Naschitz (Našice) fand am 27. Mai 2012 die Kroatien-Premiere des Films “Die Donauschwaben” (Danube Swabians/ Podunavske Švabe) statt. Naschitz ist eine Kleinstadt in Slawonien. Laut Volkszählung aus dem Jahre 2001 hat die Gemeinde Našice 17 320 Einwohner – Kroaten: 15 145 (87 Prozent), Slowaken: 964 (6 Prozent), Serben: 727 (4 Prozent) -, 8 173 davon die Stadt selbst. Der kroatische Nationalspieler Danijel Pranjić, seit 2009 beim deutschen Rekordmeister FC Bayern München unter Vertrag, wurde übrigens 1981 in Naschitz geboren und spielte bis 2000 für seinen Heimatverein NK NASK Našice, ehe er nach mehreren Vereinswechseln in München landete. Veranstaltungsort der Filmvorführung war das Schloss Pejačević (siehe Foto), das heute ein Museum beherbergt. Die Diskussion, an der neben Regisseur Marko Cvejic Museumsdirektor Branko Kranjčev teilnahm, wurde von Museumskuratorin Sylvia Lučevnjak moderiert.
Museumsdirektor und Historiker Branko Kranjčev betonte, dass es in der Umgebung von Naschitz eine Reihe an Dörfern gibt, in denen vor dem Zweiten Weltkrieg Deutsche lebten. “Ich habe das Gefühl, dass wir mit diesem Thema (die Verbrechen an den Donauschwaben zwischen 1944 und 1948; Anmerkung der DKS) erst am Anfang stehen”, so Kranjčev, der sich überrascht zeigte, dass Regisseur Marko Cvejic so viele donauschwäbische Zeitzeugen für den Film gewinnen konnte.

Našice, Hrvatska, 27.maj 2012. – Na inicijativu Udruge Nijemaca i Austrijanaca Našice, ekipa nezavisne filmske produkcije Mandragora filma posetila je grad Našice i održala projekciju filma Podunavske Švabe i panel diskusiju. Projekcija je održana u prostoru Izložbenog salona Zavičajnog muzeja Našice (dvorac Pejačević).
Hrvoje Šleder, dogradonačelnik Našica, pozdravio je učesnike kratkim govorom i iskazao svoje interesovanje za temu stradanja Podunavskih Nemaca koji su i u Hrvatskoj imali sličnu sudbinu kao i u Srbiji, o čemu film govori. Zlatko Devald, predsednik Udruge Nijemaca i Austrijanaca Našice takođe je pozdravio učesnike u uvodnom delu diskusije. Silvija Lučevnjak, kustos Zavičajnog muzeja i lokalna organizatorka, moderirala je diskusiju nakon projekcije. Pored reditelja, svoje mišljenje o temi kojom se film bavi, dao je i Branko Kranjčev, istoričar.
Gospodin Kranjčev je istraživač lokalne istorije Našica. On navodi ‘’Nekoliko utisaka o filmu imam. Imam osećaj da smo sa ovom temom na samom početku. Može se napraviti paralela između filma i lokalnih događaja. U Našicama postoji nekoliko naselja gde su pre II svetskog rata živeli Nemci, to su Velimirovac, i Našička Breznica, koji su bili izrazito nemačka naselja. Zatim, čudim se da ste uspeli naći toliko sugovornika za film. Kod nas je teško naći sagovornika iz tog vremena.’‘
Reditelj Marko Cvejić istakao je da je celokupan proces izrade filma trajao dve ipo godine, sa istraživanjem i prikupljanjem dokumentarnog materijala, do kog nije bilo nimalo lako doći jer ovi događaji nisu deo zvanične istoriografije naše zemlje, kao i činjenica da je među Podunavkim Nemcima i dalje prisutan strah da javno govore o svojim stradanjima. Upravo kroz ovaj projekat turneje filma, naročito u onim mestima koja su bila naseljena pretežno nemačkim stanovništvom, želi se dati prilika javnosti da sazna ove manje poznate stranice naše istorije.

Našice, Croatia, 27th May 2012: At the initiative of the Association of Germans and Austrians Našice, independent film production Mandragora film crew visited the city of Našice and held a film screening and panel discussion. Screening took place in the showroom space of the Museum of Našice (Castle Pejačević).
Hrvoje Šleder, mayor deputy of Našice, and Zlatko Devald, president of the Association of Germans and Austrians Našice, welcomed the participants in a short speeches and expressed their interest in the topic of Danube Germans suffering in Croatia who had a similar fate as in Serbia, what film is talking about. Sylvia Lučevnjak, curator of the Museum and the local organizer, moderated the discussion after the screening. Besides the director gave his opinion on the subject that this film deals with: Branko Kranjčev, historian.
Mr. Kranjčev is a researcher of Našice local history. He said: “I have few impressions of the film. I feel that with this subject we are at the beginning. Parallel can be made between the film and local events. There are several villages around Našice where the Germans lived before World War II. Those villages are Velimirovac and Našička Breznica, who were distinctly German settlement. Then, I am amazed that you managed to find so many speakers for the film. It is difficult to find a participant from that time here.’’
Director Marko Cvejić said that the process of making this film lasted two and a half years, along with research and collection of documentary material, which was not easy to get because those events are not part of official historiography of our country, as well as the fact that among the Danube Germans still persists the fear to speak publicly about their suffering. With this project, a screening tour, especially in those areas that were populated predominantly with German population, he wanted to give the opportunity to the audience to know the lesser-known pages of our history.
